Rather surprising to learn that fermented tea is quite acidic and therefore 316SS was chosen as the primary material for all wetted components to give a higher resistance to corrosion
One of our latest projects involved the design and fabrication of a 60,000L cream tank, engineered to meet the rigorous standards of dairy processing.
This cream batching tank features a top entry vertical mixer, full dimple plate side and bottom, sidewall insulation and clad in stainless steel. Top handrail and side access ladder to Australian Standards.
The integrated CIP system includes three Servinox directional jet spray valves. These valves were tuned specifically to the tank with a water jet study to combat shadowed areas of the vessel and mixer. Correct CIP of tank not only improves cleaning cycle, reducing downtime times but ensures efficient and that hygiene requirements are met.
